It is celebrated on the first Tuesday in August in communities all across America. Claremore PD’s finest will be in attendance to greet citizens, become acquainted and offer crime prevention advice.
Last year Claremore PD hosted “National Night Out” at the Will Rogers Park in Claremore, which is also the location of the very popular splash pad. We had an amazing turnout, serving approximately 300 children and adults.
This year’s event is in the same location and is completely FREE to include Crime prevention tips, tools and techniques, hotdogs, chips, drinks, bounce houses, and LIVE music from the trendy Tulsa native band, “Lost On Utica”.
Instead of hosting our annual Rogers County Take 25 Safety event, the safety and prevention specialists from various child health and safety agencies have decided to combine the event with Claremore Police Departments’ “National Night Out”.
There are no fees for setting up a booth; you must provide your tables, chairs, and canopy. Hotdogs, chips, and water will be provided to all vendors. Vendors may set up starting at 5pm the day of! Help will be available to vendors at 5:00pm to set up their booths.
If your agency/organization would like to take part in “National Night Out” please respond via email to ABrassfield@Claremorecity.com to confirm your participation by Friday, July 31st.
Thank you so much to those of you who have participated in years past, we sincerely hope you will once again join us in making a difference in the lives of our children. We also look forward to meeting new vendors whose participation will impact the outcome and help make this event even more successful!
Look forward to seeing all of you there!
