Mini Health Fair

The Rogers County Health Department will offer a Mini Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at 2664 N. Highway 88 in Claremore.
“We are excited to host this Mini Health Fair to spotlight our programs and services in Rogers County,” said James Thompson, Regional Administrative Director. “Our hardworking and dedicated staff will be available to answer questions and connect clients to health department services and community resources.”
The Mini Health Fair will include health services via the “Public Health on the Go!” Mobile Wellness Unit. Staffed by a family nurse practitioner, available services on the Mobile Wellness Unit include school/sports physicals, annual child well checks, immunizations, wellness checks (blood pressure, glucose and cholesterol screenings), women’s exams, men’s exams, general sick visits, STI/STD testing, flu testing and vaccination, COVID-19 testing and vaccination, and other public health services. No appointment is required.
Booths will feature programs available at the health department (Children First, Child Guidance, SoonerStart, WIC and more), as well as community partners.
Community Health Workers will offer in-person assistance with Medicaid/SoonerCare enrollment.
Free car seat checks will be provided by certified child passenger safety technicians. A limited number of car seats will be given away to those who qualify.
