Mardi Gras on the Boulevard
Let’s celebrate Mardi Gras, Claremore-style! This Saturday, February 26, you can find all kinds of things to do at Mardi Gras on the Boulevard.
First up, food! Find Mardi Gras-inspired specials at Doe’s Eat Place (they’re having a crawfish/shrimp boil), Hammett House (Cajun catfish, red beans and rice), J Farley’s (chicken cassoulet), and Front Porch Bakery (king cakes). Wet your whistle with themed cocktails at Tap on the Tracks and Smoke & Tonic, and try a Jell-o shot at Green Eyes.
Next up, there will be a walking parade at 11a starting at Hammett House and ending at the Claremore Museum of History. Wear a mask or costume an bring an umbrella! Pets are welcome. From 3p – 4:30p, there will be costume judging for all ages AND pets at Vintique Charm and Perfect Bride Boutique. Winners will be announced at 5p. Adult judging will be at Tap on the Tracks from 8p – 9p. Winner announced at 9p.
In front of 6:19 Nutrition in Ne-Mar, there will be a dog adoption event. Also at Ne-Mar, stop by for the car cruise starting at 4p.
The JM Davis Arms & Historical Museum will have the BB gun range open. You can also stop by the Hunter Jumper show at the Claremore Expo. Click HERE for a full weekend schedule!
