Genealogy Volunteers at the Library
July 14, 2014 @ 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The genealogy volunteers are in their eighth season at the Will Rogers Library. They will be present at the library every Monday night from 3 – 7p until the end of November to assist a beginner or advanced researcher in their quest for family ancestors, except when the library is closed for a Monday holiday.
The library has two websites that are free to use, otherwise only available for a fee in your home, ancestry.com and Fold 3. In addition, our volunteers have a complimentary packet for beginners with forms and information to take home, as well as other internet sites you can search for free and from your home. We can assist you in finding software to enter your data for your family tree, computer research, analyze your documents for further research, and heck, we are fun to hang out with! Come hang out with us on Monday nights and learn from your neighbor researcher. Sometimes, if we are not busy, several of us will be working with one patron. There are nine volunteers available to assist! Come learn about your family tree, for free!
