May 14, 2016 @ 6:30 am - 4:00 pm$30
The Claremore Wrestling team is holding its annual bass tournament on Saturday, May 14, from 6:30a – 4p.
Sign-in for the tournament begins at 6a on May 14 at Claremore High School. Participants will be released at 6:30a to begin fishing, and will need to return no later than 4p. You can fish anywhere: ponds, lakes, creeks, mud holes, etc. There is a 5-fish limit, and all fish must be alive during weigh-in. You must use a rod and reel. Live bait and throw nets are not permitted. Any fish caught before or after the tournament will be void. Any team not back by 4p will forfeit their catch.
Weigh-in will be held at Claremore Lake. Dinner will be served afterward to those who participated. Prize money will be awarded to the top 3 teams with a door prize drawing for all participants. There is also a prize for biggest bass!
If you are interesting in participating, please contact Coach Willard at 918-923-4211 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your team information. Pre-registration is $30 per person or $75 per team (3 max) due by 5/6. On the day of the tournament, fee is $30 per person or $90 per team.
There will also be a skins game this year! The cost is an additional $10 per person, or $10 per team. You do not have to play, but it’s a chance to win some money if the bass aren’t biting. Bring in the biggest non-bass you can catch: spoonbill, catfish, carp, whatever! The fish must be caught on a rod and reel or noodling. One fish per team.
