Stop by the Claremore Expo Center between September 3rd through September 5th to see the OPEA Go for Gold Show! Go for The Gold is a Stallion Service Auction and Futurity and is part of Oklahoma Palomino Exhibitor’s Association.
The Mountain Bike Trail welcomes back the Shoreline Shred on Sunday, September 11th. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, this event is a great way to get out and enjoy all the fun our Mountain Bike Trails have to offer. On Saturday, cyclists and spectators can enjoy live music and festival events. Pre-registration for Sunday’s Shoreline Shred is available at Shoreline Shred Registration (https://www.bikereg.com/shoreline-shred). Race day registration will begin at 8:30am on Sunday and ends 30 minutes prior to each category start.
It’s that time of year again! The Rogers County Fair will be September 15th-18th at the Claremore Expo. Fireworks will kick off the annual event Thursday night around 8:15 and can be seen from the Expo Center parking lot and beyond.
Visit the carnival or shop our County Square every day. For your evening entertainment, Micah Bell will take the stage on Thursday night at 7:00pm. On Friday night you can catch the Roy Weather Band on the entertainment Stage starting at 7:00pm. On Saturday night The Dueling Pianos will be set to entertain at 7:00pm. Shepherd’s Cross is hosting their Pumpkin Festival again this year, every Tuesday through Saturday, September 20th – November 5th from 9am – 6:30 pm. The festival is more than a pumpkin patch, with plenty of family fun inside and out. Activities include and are not limited to pumpkin patch, hay maze, scarecrow making, hay rides, and a farm animal petting barn. For more information, visit shepherdscross.com.
Bring the family out to the Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch in Oologah, September 17th for Family Day at the Ranch. From 1-3pm, historians will be on hand to share 19th-century activities. Admission is free; more information can be found at willrogers.com.
Head to downtown Claremore September 29th for Food Truck Thursday, a monthly food truck and shopping event! This month will be the Corporate Olympics so come shop our downtown shops and cheer on your favorite corporate all-stars, from 6 pm – 9 pm! On September 23rd and 24th, car and motorcycle enthusiasts will come together for the Route 66 Cruisers 14th Annual Car and Motorcycle Show. The weekend will begin on Friday with a cruise-in on September 23rd in the NeMar Center from 4pm-6pm. Cruisers will head to Claremore Lake Park where a cook out will be held for car show entries and their guests. Stop by the Rogers County Farmers Market, located in the parking lot of the Rogers County Courthouse on Saturdays through October from 7am – 11am. If you can’t make it Saturday morning, stop by the Blue Whale in Catoosa on Wednesday evenings from 5pm-8pm.
