Monday Motivation: How to Set Goals

Decide what you want. Decide what you are willing to exchange for it. Establish your priorities and go to work.

Here are a few tips for staying motivated.

1️⃣ SET GOALS: Grab a notepad or journal and write down your goals… small & big goals, detailed & positive! For example, say ‘I will exercise 5 times this week’ (instead of ‘I will lose all this fat.’)

2️⃣ PLAN: “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” – Harvey MacKay
In the same place you wrote your goals, write your plan to reach them. Will you be working out daily? Packing meals? Practicing yoga? Whatever it is, plan it!

3️⃣ SET REMINDERS: Post your goals where you’ll see them everyday! Create an inspiration board with photos, quotes, and inspiring pictures. And/or set a phone reminder to “Remember your goals”!

4️⃣ VISUALIZE: Imagine how you will feel once you reach your goal. Really visualize yourself feeling proud and accomplished. Use that as fuel to keep going!
