Eason Collision: Keeping it Quality Since 1980

easonIn January 1980, Jerry Eason traveled north from Ft. Worth and opened up a little two-stall collision shop at the north end of J.M. Davis Boulevard.  Jerry worked alone and did his best to build up his small business, until that April, when his family followed him to Claremore. His eldest son, John, joined him in working at the shop, and his wife did her part by bringing dinner to the boys most nights. Business began to grow. It grew so much, in fact, that after just 10 months, all those grueling 16-hour days paid off, and they moved to a nine-bay shop south of town, near where Dick’s Diner and the old Chrysler building used to stand.

Three years later, in December of 1984, Eason Collision moved to its current location at 731 S. Moretz, just south of Cotton Eyed Joe’s. Back then, the shop had 11 bays, which was quite an increase from the original two that Jerry started with. Today, the shop has 28. Remember when Jerry handled everything alone? Now he has a staff of 13, including both sons, John and Jason.
