Okay, so I knew that we at Dodge were getting all kinds of technology from our new European sister, Alfa Romeo, and I knew the whole dash could be set up for each person’s personality, and there was this new ambient lighting thing making a red ring glow around the dash, and I heard they were going to use Napa leather. Napa leather? In a Dodge Dart? You know they charge EXTRA for that on Lexus?
But when I finally got in the car I’m saying, “Holy cow! This is a Dodge Dart? These can be set up to get as much as 41mpg? This GT has soft, perforated, heated Napa leather and even the leather heated steering wheel? A giant 8.4” touchscreen Nav in the center stack? Red stitching on dash and seat? Huge 5 spoke wheels?
And these seats. Aaah. Watch out, Volvo. This is a category crowded with entries running from low mid $30’s to just over $40k.
And this Dart GT at Melton is just over $23k. Like I said. “Holy cow.”
