Blood Drive for Jason Dean
June 14, 2015 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
We have posted a couple of stories about Claremore man Jason Dean, who has Evans Syndrome and a form of cancer called Plasmablastic Lymphoma. Blood donations are always vital to those who are ill, but when someone like Jason, who has a rare blood type and a rare condition, needs blood, it’s even more important.
The American Red Cross is hosting a blood drive on Sunday, June 14, at the Bailey Education Center in Owasso, in honor of Jason. The Dean family would like to raise awareness for those fighting battles similar to Jason’s. Blood is always welcome, and monetary donations will be given to Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society.
Please donate blood on June 14 from 10a – 4p and tell your friends. We are all warriors fighting our own battles each and every day. Schedule an appointment online at redcrossblood.org.
Be a warrior. Save a warrior!
