Calling All Mutton Busters!

It is almost rodeo time in Claremore and this year we will celebrate the 75th Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo, Oklahoma’s only 5X PRCA Small Rodeo of the Year! A full line-up of action starts on Friday, May 28, and runs nightly through the last performance on Sunday, May 30.

This means it is time to get the kiddos ready and registered for their favorite event…Mutton Bustin’! This year’s Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo’s Mutton Bustin’ Qualifier will be Sunday, May 2, at 1pm at the Cowboy Country Fellowship in Talala.

Presented by Mid-America Farm & Ranch in Talala, this qualifying event makes way for the top contestants to compete at the 75th Will Rogers Stampede PRCA Rodeo this Memorial Day weekend. The gates will open nightly at 6pm with opening ceremonies starting at 7pm. The Mutton Bustin’ will start shortly afterwards. Advance rodeo tickets are available at willrogersstampede.com and are $15 for adults, $7 for children, or you can pick up a family 4-pack for just $40.

Riders must be ages 4 to 7 and must be 60 pounds or less to enter. Registration is $20 per entry and the deadline to register is at 12:30pm on May 2. Interested contestants must attend the qualifying event to participate. Registration forms are available at Mid-America Farm & Ranch in Talala, any RCB Bank (Claremore locations), Claremore Expo Center, and Stillwater Milling.
