A fantastic crowd turned out on Saturday, December 12, for the Claremore Chamber’s 17th annual Santa Cash “shop local” promotion giveaway. This year, the Chamber gave away a total of $16,500 in prizes, thanks to several generous sponsors!
The Chamber opted for a drive-in style method this year in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Spectators remained in their cars at the Lantow Field parking lot, Will Rogers Junior High, Roosa Elementary, and Robson PAC.
The first prize was for $1,000, sponsored by HydroHoist. The winning ticket was from Stillwater Milling and was awarded to Erik Wrede. The second two prizes were for also for $1,000 each, both sponsored by Helt Heat & Air. The second number drawn was from 10Box Cost-Plus, and was awarded to Courtney Blevins. The final $1,000 prize was given to Krista Grace, and her ticket was from Marty Quinn Shelter Insurance.
The next prize out of the hopper was for $2,500, courtesy of Suburban Chevrolet. That winner was Tillie Webb.
This year, instead of one $10,000 prizes, the Chamber gave out two $5,000 checks, sponsored by Ira M. Green Construction and RCI Insurance. Those winners were Whitney Owens-Martin and James Anderson.
Other sponsors for this year’s Santa Cash drawing were J&J Pharmacy, C&A Roofing and Construction, BancFirst, Claremore Daily Progress, Solid Rock Realtors – Michael Urie, Grand Bank, RCB Bank, and U.S. Mortgage.
Congrats and merry Christmas to all of the winners! Thank you to everyone who played and shopped local! Thanks to everyone who volunteered to make this event possible.
