Light of Hope, Hair We Go partner for free haircuts in November

Hair We Go Mobile Salon is owned and operated by Sheridan Long.

For those who haven’t risked a haircut since the beginning of the pandemic, can’t afford one because they lost their job, or otherwise are struggling to make ends meet, Light of Hope is partnering with Hair We Go Mobile Salon to offer free haircuts in November.

On Thursday and Friday, Nov. 19 and 20, the mobile hair salon will be parked outside the Light of Hope office from 3 to 6 p.m., offering free haircuts on a first come, first served basis.

Light of Hope Executive Director Nancy Phelps said, “Please arrive with clean washed hair, and come prepared to wait a little bit.”

Light of Hope is located at 403 W. 1st Street in Claremore, across from the county jail.
