Let’s Go to the Movies, Claremore!

Last weekend I went to the movies at B&B Theatres Claremore Cinema 8. Did you know they’re open?

Currently they have several classic (read: older) films in rotation, because they can’t get new movies at the time. But even though it’s a movie you’ve seen hundreds of times from the comfort of your living room, there’s still something magical about enjoying hot buttery popcorn and seeing an old favorite on the big screen. For me this time, it was The Notebook.

Open Thursday – Sunday right now, they have a new batch of movies every single weekend! New titles are (usually) announced on Tuesdays on the B&B Theatres Claremore Cinema 8 facebook page. This weekend, August 6-9, you have some fun choices:

Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back
Black Panther
Inside Out
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
The Breakfast Club
Jurassic Park
Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows: Part 1

Please note that the theatre is following strict health policies, including masked employees, social distancing with seating, and spraying down theatres with sanitizing spray after each showing. Our theatres are in danger of closing for good, so PLEASE go support them!
