Claremore Events are Heating Up in July!

New Month, new things to do! Whether it’s going to the lake, cheering on a local baseball team, or going to Food Truck Thursday, we have a lot of events in July for you to join in on! Don’t forget the Rogers County Farmers Market every Saturday from 7-11 am at Lynn Riggs Park.  If you haven’t tried the jalapeño chocolate fudge yet, you are missing out!

We all love some good food, especially when it is all in one location with lots of options! Food Truck Thursday is a seasonal, monthly food truck and shopping event in downtown Claremore. Running from 6-9 p.m. on the last Thursday of the month from June through October, Food Truck Thursday features live, local musicians, a ton of food trucks, late-night shopping, a free Kids Zone, and a fun atmosphere. Each month has a different theme for added fun. June’s theme is Claremore Strong and will be held June 25, and July’s is scheduled for July 30. Celebrate Christmas in July and purchase a limited edition Christmas ornament in honor of the 25th anniversary of Dickens on the Boulevard.

As the July 4th holiday draws near, we wanted to remind citizens of the process to obtain fireworks permits. The city has added an option for citizens to purchase their permits online. Click HERE to buy yours!

Please note that the City of Claremore has canceled July 4th festivities at Claremore Lake, including the kids fishing derby. However, King Road Baptist Church is offering an event for the community on Sunday, July 5, with food, fun, and fireworks! This free event begins at 6p. King Road Baptist Church is located at 2450 King Rd.

PetSense is hosting an adoption event on Saturday, July 11, from 12p – 3p. Now is the perfect time to give a loving home to a new four-legged friend! Get more info HERE.

The 15th Annual Green Country Classic Ranch Rodeo will be held at the Claremore Expo Center July 17-18. Saddle up and watch as teams from the top 15 ranches around Oklahoma’s Green Country compete in rodeo events such as wild cow milking, team penning, cattle branding, and bronc riding. The Green Country Classic Ranch Rodeo celebrates the history of early Oklahoma’s cattle-raising economy and the rural traditions of the area. Doors will open at 6 pm each night of the event, so show up early and secure your seat in the grandstand. While waiting for the rodeo to begin, stroll over to the Western Trading Days trade show and browse through a variety of Western goods and services for sale. Claremore’s Green Country Ranch Rodeo is one of only a handful of rodeos sanctioned by the Working Ranch Cowboy Association in the state. Witness as working cowboys compete for thousands of dollars in prize money and an invitation to the WRCA World Championships.

Help celebrate the 38th anniversary of The Pink House at 3 pm on July 17 or 18. Now located inside The Belvidere, you can enjoy your afternoon tea inside of a historic mansion. Then take a tour of the museum on the second floor.

Menu Items Include: Savory Finger Sandwiches, Classic Scones, Assorted Pastries & Desserts, and much more! To purchase tickets, please email: events@pinkhouseofclaremore.com
