RSU Foundation to Participate in Giving Tuesday Now

The Rogers State University Foundation will participate in Giving Tuesday Now, a new global day of giving and unity that will take place as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19.

Funds raised by RSU during this online campaign will exclusively provide support to students who need assistance to attend classes in the fall.

“Students are ready to return and experience those moments of discovery and camaraderie that make attending college at RSU a life altering experience,” Steve Valencia, vice president for development, said.  “Many of our students face extreme financial challenges as a result of the COVID-19 impact. Some are faced with the prospect of leaving RSU and suspending or forgoing the dream of a degree from RSU. No student should have to make that choice.”

RSU has announced its plans to open all of its campuses for fall semester classes. The University will also offer numerous degree programs and courses in an online format.

“We are eager for a reunion of the Hillcat family,” Valencia said.

Online donations may be made via credit card at Checks can be mailed to the Office of Development, Rogers State University, 1701 W. Will Rogers Ave, Claremore, OK 74017.
