It’s Girl Scout Cookie Time!

Girl Scouts across eastern Oklahoma will be selling Girl Scout cookies beginning Saturday, February 1. For the first two weeks of February, they’ll be selling door to door, so maybe you’ll get a jump start on cookie eating!

Cookie booths will begin on Friday, February 14 through Sunday, March 22. An online cookie booth locator is available at GSEOK.org. Or you can download the free Girl Scout Cookie Locator for iPhone or Android. There’s no excuse not to find your favorite cookies this year!

Troops 7168 and 7049 were kind enough to drop a cookie delivery for Travis and Ashley, and they’ll be selling at Walmart in Catoosa and Pryor, as well as Reasor’s in Claremore. (Walmart in Claremore will have limited sales this year due to the remodel.)

Each box of cookies costs $5, except the gluten-free Toffee-tastic and S’mores, which are $6 per box. Of that purchase price, more than 77% stays with the Girl Scout, her troop, and the council to fund high-quality leadership development programming that builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.  All net proceeds from each box of cookies sold stays in the local community and benefits our girls in eastern Oklahoma.

Cookie flavors available for 2020 are Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-Si-Dos, Trefoils, Thin Mints, S’mores, and Toffee-tastic. But wait! Drumroll, please…..NEW for 2020 are Lemon-Ups! These are crispy lemon cookies baked with inspiring messages to lift your spirits. We got to try them, and they’re DELICIOUS!

So get your elastic pants on, and get ready to eat some Girl Scout cookies!
