Free Citizenship Classes Start Soon!

Free U.S. Citizenship classes are again being offered by the Rogers County Literacy Council. Classes are for anyone who would like to become a citizen of the United States. Classes will provide information on all the U.S. Civics information needed for the test, as well as practice for the personal interview. Classes will explain the application process and work on improving English skills.

Currently three classes are scheduled. Classes will be held at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on Tuesdays from 1:30p – 3p each week. A second class will be held on Thursday evenings from 6:30p – 8p at Northeast Tech in Claremore. A third class will be offered on Thursday afternoons from 2p – 3:30p at the Catoosa Public Library. All textbooks and workbooks will be provided at no cost. Malinda Brown will be the instructor.

If interested in learning about becoming a U.S. citizen, contact Malinda Brown by phone or text at 918-923-1338 or contact the Rogers County Literacy Council at 918-277-4331.
