Battalion Chief Marty Osborne passed away on Friday, June 7. With love and support from our community, as well as many other area fire departments, Chief Osborne was welcomed home for the final time this past Sunday with a processional.

We cannot even begin to name all of the departments that showed support for the Osborne family on their journey from Oklahoma City to Claremore, and we don’t want to leave anyone out. We’ll just say that respect for Chief Osborne was evident all the way home. Special thanks to Claremore Fire, Rogers County Sheriff’s Office, Claremore Police Department, and Pafford.

Chief Osborne served Claremore Fire proudly for 32 years, 1 month, and 11 days with faithful service. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, and his children, Cole, Faith, and Amanda.

Those wishing to make a donation to assist the family with funeral arrangements and future needs can go to any RCB Bank location and let any teller know they would like to make a donation to the IAFF Benefit Account for The Marty Osborne Family.

Public visitation for Chief Osborne will be Friday, June 14, from 10am-8pm at Rice Funeral Service. The memorial service for Chief Marty Osborne has been set for Saturday, June 15th, at 11:00am at First Baptist Church in Claremore.
