Congrats, Alfred Thomas of RSU Track & Field!

Alfred Thomas earned second place in the 200-meter dash finals at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday.

Thomas backed up his preliminary standing the day before, running second overall in the final with a 21.09.

The senior had a strong showing in the 200-meter dash preliminaries on Friday, running the second fastest time of all qualifiers with a 20.82.

Thomas earned the best-ever finish at the National Championships for a member of the Rogers State Track & Field team. Baylor Harvey held the previous best finish for RSU, running 5th in the 5000-meter run in 2017.
