The Biggest Dog Show Ever is Coming to Claremore! (It’s really big, anyway.)

Claremore Kennel Club of OK, Inc. will host five days of All Breed Dog Shows March 27th through March 31st at the Claremore Expo Center. Judging begins at 8 AM each day and ends at approximately 5 PM. Over 120 different breeds will compete for Best In Show each day.

Special competitions will be held for Best Owner Handler, Best Bred By Exhibitor, Best Puppy and also Best 4-6 Mo. Puppy.

On Saturday, March 30, a special event for Pee-Wees will be held at noon. This is for children ages 5 to under 9 years old who have an interest in showing dogs. Limited to 15 children, entries will be taken from 8 AM to 11 AM.

Dock Diving will be all five days in the Expo parking lot. Barn Hunt tests, which are new this year, will be held on Saturday and Sunday in the north arena area. Demonstrations and try outs will be held Friday, March 29, prior to the shows.

More than 20 vendors will attend with dog-related gift items or services. The special booth attraction this year will be Ground Zero Training Center, a training facility for search & rescue dogs. The founders include Becky and Barry Switzer, who are dedicated to providing public servants with appropriate training and qualified canines for emergencies in Oklahoma.
