This is a list of the key projects covered in the 2019 Claremore Public Schools Bond.
KEY PROJECTS
PRIORITIZE SAFETY & SECURITY
  • Safety and security upgrades at all schools
  • Cameras on all school buses
  • Surveillance Cameras
  • Interior / Exterior Doors
  • Locking Systems
  • Intercom Systems
  • Alarm Systems
  • Parent/bus drop-off improvements
  • Secure front entrance access district-wide
  • Provide health services equipment all sites
  • Lighting
PROVIDE A MODERN EDUCATION FOR EVERY STUDENT
  • Provide one-to-one (1:1) technology for grades 9-12
  • Provide classroom set of technology devices for K – 8
  • Upgrade technology for teachers: computers, software, & learning platforms
  • Replacing outdated interactive boards
  • District technology infrastructure
NEW BUILDING AND STRUCTURES
  • Replace Aging Fleet of Student Route Buses including Special Education
  • Student Activity Buses
  • Student 15-passenger Buses
  • District Auto to transport students
  • HVAC, plumbing, and electrical upgrades district-wide
  • Roof replacement and repairs district-wide
  • Parking lot and drainage repair behind 9th grade wing and PAC
  • LED Renovations District wide
  • Significant remodeling and expansion of Westside Library
  • Remove portable buildings all sites and annex at Claremont (relocate those classes into permanent structures)
  • Entrance at Claremont and High School
  • Replacing 11 year-old turf at Lantow Field
  • Replacement/resurfacing of tennis courts and renovation
  • Renovate Andy Payne Soccer / Track facility
  • Restore & Re-purpose or Replace the “Rubber / Practice” gymnasium at CHS to include additional multi-sport locker rooms storage and student learning spaces.
