Get ‘Certified Healthy’, Claremore…It Gives Our Community Money!

Claremore-area businesses, churches and childcare facilities are encouraged to attend a FREE workshop at North Block Common on Tuesday, October 9th, from 5:30p-6:30p. The Rogers County Healthy Living Program team will assist attendees with the application process for Certified Healthy Oklahoma.

For communities like Claremore to be awarded Community Grants funding, a representation of the businesses, churches and childcare facilities within the community must be recognized as Certified Healthy. The workshop process will include an assessment of existing policies around tobacco use and workplace wellness and provide sample policies that can be adopted. Computers will be available for on-site application to Certified Healthy Oklahoma which are due by November 1st.

It’s an easy process and it helps our community grants that will improve our quality of life. Come on out, please?
