The Hillcat Hacker Invitational presented by Ross Group is set to return for 2018 on Friday, Oct. 12 on the Rogers State University Claremore campus and is open to university students, friends and alumni.
The Hillcat Hacker Invitational presented by Ross Group is a game for everyone, pros, amateurs and hackers alike can play amidst the hazards of RSU’s scenic campus. The game features a one-of-a-kind, 18-hole course that takes golfers on a tour of RSU’s historic buildings, monuments and specious green spaces. Players will use special non-destructive golf balls.
The 2018 Hillcat Hacker will have only an afternoon flight starting at 1 p.m. Lunch, which is provided, will be served starting at 11:30 a.m. The individual entry fee is $50 per player or $200 for a team of four. This includes golf, event t-shirt and lunch. RSU students can enter for $25 per player.
Participants will compete in a four-person scramble while navigating around historic RSU landmarks such as Preparatory Hall and the Thomas Jefferson statue. Certificates will be awarded to the winning team. At the conclusion of the event, a raffle drawing will held to give away great prizes, including numerous themed baskets and electronics. All proceeds from the event will benefit the fifth-year scholarships for Hillcat Athletics.
