Youth Force Descends on Claremore

You might have heard of Youth Force, the group of teens from area Methodist churches who were busy doing labor projects all over town last week.

In addition to Youth Force, which consists of members in 7th grade through high school, there is also the Y.I.T.I.s, or Youth in Training Initiative. These 6th-grade students, along with several adults, went out to two job sites in Claremore. They helped fix a fence, paint, clean gutters, trim hedges, clean out flower beds, and did plenty of raking.

Next year they’ll be ready to join Youth Force! Kudos to all of these hard-working kids!
