How to Purchase a Fireworks Permit in Claremore

Happy 4th of July! You must have a permit to discharge fireworks within the city limits. Permits can be purchased until July 3rd for $25 at the City Clerk’s office at City Hall. You must be 18 to get a permit and just need to bring photo ID with you.

If you are cited for discharging fireworks outside of the dates and hours allowed, it is a $230 fine.

Class C Fireworks can be discharged July 3rd, 4th, and 5th between the hours of 12:00 p.m. (noon) and 11:00 p.m.

New this year: If you are caught without a permit, it is a $55 fine, and then the citation serves as your permit. Officers will be writing citations this year.
