Claremore Public Schools Foundation was out Grant Patrolling

The Claremore Public Schools Foundation Grant Patrol delivered nearly $32,000 in grants to educators at eight different locations Friday. The Grant Patrol visited each school, the PAC and the district offices funding programs ranging from new reading curriculum to professional development to technology for the classroom.

Teachers were surprised in their classrooms by CPSF board members bearing balloons and, more importantly, a donut party for their students! (The kids were extra excited about the donuts!)

Celebrating their 30th year as a foundation, CPSF has watched the range of needs change from traditional paper and pencils to modern technology of computers and software. Teachers from around the district are encouraged to submit a grant request for the semi-annual gift. The requests, without names or schools, are reviewed by a committee for approval.

CPSF Director Amy Evans said, “Our foundation was formed to help our school system enrich the learning experience through our grant program. We hope to provide opportunities to Claremore children that would not otherwise be available.”

CPSF is a non-profit organization and depends on contributions by corporate donors and people like you! Our partners for the 2017-2018 year include: Whataburger, Taylor Foster Law Firm, TTCU, Bill and Phyllis Snyder, Smalygo Auto Wholesale, RCB Bank, Robson Properties, The Print Shop, Nees Realty, Dr. and Mrs. Richard Mosier, Jack Kissee Ford,  Highfill Properties, Hillcrest Hospital – Claremore, Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center, Chad and Misty Choat, CF industries and BancFirst.
