Claremore Senior Receives Prestigious Scholarship

Claremore senior Riley Jensen has been awarded the President’s Leadership Council scholarship to University of Central Oklahoma. This includes a four-year tuition waiver, as well as funds for food and housing, plus an opportunity to study abroad.

Riley plans to major in Economics before obtaining an MBA and Juris Doctorate.

Her years at Claremore High School have been full and busy! She serves as the Public Relations officer for NHS and president of the Young Republicans. She is a Federal Policy Advisor for ACC (American Conservation Coalition), an up-and-coming organization focusing on free markets, environmentalism, clean energy, property and sportsmen’s rights. She is also the Rogers County Campaign Coordinator for Lt. Governor candidate Matt Pinnell. 
Riley enjoys playing piano and ukulele, is a student athletic trainer, and takes dance at Heather’s Dance School. She attends First United Methodist Church in Claremore.
Riley will graduated as a valedictorian with the Class of 2018.
