The former Worley’s Nursery location at 1st St. and Highway 88 (just east of Claremore Police Department) is getting a new look and some fresh blood. Kara and William Lenard are putting their dreams to work and opening the Claremore Market.
And now, the Lenards have partners! Stephanie and Nate Andrews are joining in the quest to bring Claremore a true local, community market. Longtime friends of the Lenards, Stephanie knew that the market was going to be something special for the whole town to enjoy, and she knew they wanted to be part of it. Kara will handle the daily operation of the market while William, Stephanie, and Nate will pitch in where needed. Their kiddos will be helping, too! (Or playing. But they’ll likely be there!)
The market will have nursery items and fresh produce provided by local farmers. It will be like an indoor, daily farmers market! There will also be a section featuring Made in Oklahoma products, including gifts, shirts, honey, soaps, and more.
The market is currently seeking vendors for local produce and honey. Additionally, they’re asking the community: What do you want them to carry?
Opening day is Saturday, March 31. Stop in and browse around. Take a cozy seat by the outdoor fireplace and sip a cup of coffee under the pergola. And let’s help the hometown dream of Claremore Market come to life in a big way!
Welcome, Claremore Market! Keep it local!
