If you’ve misplaced your motivation to get off the couch and get moving, RoCo Fit has the answer! RoCo Fit is a FREE program sponsored by the Rogers County Health Department. Basically, it’s a group of super nice folks who want to get outside and move it, move it!
It’s open to anyone and like we said, it’s completely FREE! There are multiple groups of both walkers and runners at all levels. If you love to walk, this is the place to be! If you love to run, same. If you would like to get into running and aren’t sure where to start, all of the “running” groups are technically walk/run, so it’s a great first step. Even if you’re active already, RoCo Fit is great because it’s a whole group of accountability partners to keep you in check.
To learn more, you can attend the informational meeting at Northeast Tech on Monday, March 12, at 6p. Workouts will begin on Tuesday, March 27, at 6p. Sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday at 6p at Claremore Lake for 12 weeks.
Sign up online at RoCoFit.org beginning in February. We’ll let you know when it’s live! See you at the lake!
P.S. Strollers are welcome.
