The former Worley’s Nursery location at 1st St. and Highway 88 (just east of Claremore Police Department) is getting a new look and some fresh blood. Kara and William Lenard are putting their dreams to work and opening the Claremore Market.
The market will have nursery items, as before. For the 2018 season, many of the plants will come from Worley’s Nursery, which still has two other locations. The Lenards plan on growing their own stock for next year. Local farmers will also provide a variety of fresh produce. It will be like an indoor, daily farmers market! There will also be a section featuring Made in Oklahoma products, including gifts, shirts, honey, soaps, and more.
The Lenards are toying with the idea of offering a weekly membership, in which customers can pay a flat rate to fill a bag with produce.
Claremore Market will share space with William’s current company, Patriot Outdoor Living. Expected open date is April 1.
Welcome, Claremore Market! Keep it local!
