November is going to be a busy month in town with the quickly approaching holidays and fun events! You can view all of the happenings on the calendar of events on VisitClaremore.org to plan out your weekends full of fun!
The JM Davis Gun Museum will be hosting their last High Noon Shootout for the season on Saturday, November 4th. Make plans to stop by and enjoy the Tri-State Gunfighters show and take a visit in the museum.
Claremore’s Roughstock Extreme is a new event taking place at the Claremore Expo Center on Saturday, November 4th. Doors will open at 6 pm and the event starts at 7:30 pm. Enjoy watching the top 25 bull riders and saddle bronc riders along with 5 freestyle bull fighters putting on a show!
Shepherds Cross Pumpkin Festival is open for its last weekend. Bring out the family through November 4th to pick out a pumpkin, enjoy fall festive games, take a tour in the farm museum and more. It’ll be open Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 am to 6:30 pm.
While you’re out on the town be sure to help celebrate Will Rogers birthday on Saturday, November 4th! There will be a parade march at 12 pm down Will Rogers Boulevard from the Expo Center ending at the Gazebo Park with a birthday bash!
Nitro Arena Cross is back at the Claremore Expo November 10th and 11th. There will be racing both evenings beginning at 7:00 pm. Get your tickets in advance for a discount. On Friday night they’ll be offering kids tickets for only $5 and Saturday is a free track party before the races start.
In remembrance of all who have served our country, the annual Veterans Day Parade will be Friday, November 10th, at 11:11 am. The parade will start at the Claremore Expo Center and travel down Will Rogers Boulevard to First Baptist Church. There will be a flag retirement ceremony at 9 am that day. If you have used American flags you can bring them to the Expo Center that morning for proper disposal.
Hillcat Homecoming is coming up November 17th and 18th! Enjoy a variety of activities up on the hill and at the Claremore Expo Center. The Mens and Womens basketball teams will take on St. Gregory’s Cavaliers; womens game will start at 2 pm and the mens game will begin at 4 pm.
Come down to Dickens on the Boulevard in Historic Downtown November 17th and 18th. This Victorian Christmas event features caroling and other live entertainment, hot cocoa and cider, pictures with Santa, living character windows & more!
