Sept. 26 – Nov. 4, 9a-6:30p: Pumpkin Festival at Shepherd’s Cross. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 am – 6:30 p.m. and Monday by appointment. Closed Sunday. www.ShepherdsCross.com – simply click on Pumpkin Festival on the home page.

Saturday, Oct. 21, 10a-6p: The 9th Annual Route 66 Pecan and Fun Festival offers something for all ages. Take a detour off historic Route 66 in Claremore, just 5 miles north of I-44 on Route 66, and head to the Nut House for a car show, great food, pie-eating contest, arts & crafts, games for the kids and much more! Halloween costume contest at 1:00pm and have trick-or-treating through the vendor booths all day from 10am-6pm.

Tuesday, Oct. 24, 5-7p: Come out to Claremore Chick-fil-A for a night to celebrate creativity and to welcome fall! We will have a pumpkin painting party, face painting, a bounce house and other fun! All activities are free. Free pumpkins while supplies last.

Thursday, Oct. 26, 5:30p: RoCo Fit is hosting a FREE 5k Monster Mash Dash at Claremore Lake. There will be a fun run at 5:30p and a 5k at 6p. There will be free medals for finishers from Volunteers for Youth. Costumes encouraged.

Thursday, Oct. 26, 6-10p: Robson Performing Arts Center is bringing you the Haunted Prison Lockup, for those who dare! Held October 26, 27, 28, 30, and 31 from 6-10p. Cost is $5 cash. 101 E. Stuart Roosa. For more info, call 918-923-4290.

Thursday, Oct. 26, 6:30p: Autumn Wood and Wood Manor are inviting the community to come trick or treating with them! The event will begin in the Wood Manor Lobby located at 2800 N. Hickory St. in Claremore at 6:30 PM. For more information about this free event, contact Charlie Redding at (918) 283-4949. 

Friday, Oct. 27, 5:30-9p: The Claremore Recreation Center is having their annual Halloween celebration on October 27! Games for the kids start at 5:30p. A free showing of Scooby-Doo will start at 7p.

Nine haunted scenes, including the recreation of the Verdigris legend, the Ghost Train. Cost is $10 per person, cash only. Concessions available. Sunday, Oct. 29, 3-5p: First United Methodist Church is hosting the annual Fall Festival on Sunday, October 29, from 3-5p. There will be carnival games from 3p – 4:15p; most cost 50 cents each to play. There will be concessions available for a fee.Free Trunk or Treat will be from 4:30p – 5p. Come on out to the Fall Festival! Costumes welcome!

Sunday, Oct. 29, 4-6p: Eastern Hills Baptist Church annual Fall Festival offers something for all ages. There will be games, inflatables. Giveaways, and more for all ages from 4-6 PM on Sunday, October 29! There will be hot dogs and snacks available throughout the event. The Trunk or Treat will follow at 6 PM! Join us for an evening of fun!

Sunday, Oct. 29, 6:30-8p: Lifechanger Church is hosting their annual Trunk R Treat event on Sunday, October 29. This is a safe and fun night of trick-or-treating. There will be lots of yummy candy and treats for all to enjoy from 6:30p – 8p. Lifechanger church is located at 2221 Cornerstone Ave. and N. Highway 88 in Claremore. Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6-8pWant a fun and safe place to trick or treat? The Will Rogers Memorial Museum will be hosting Halloween Night at the Museum! Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6-8p: The Claremore Veterans Center has an awesome Halloween bash each year, with tons of candy and a fun carnival with games for the kids. There will be a bounce house, popcorn, lemonade, hot cocoa, games, and a super hero at each location! Find the one closest to you and check it out! Locations are : Vintage Park (Verdigris) , 2001 S. Cherokee Pl., 516 Stonehaven Dr., 1908 Chamber Terrace.

Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6:30-8:30p: Harvest Baptist Church is having a Disney-themed Trunk or Treat! There will be free admission, free hot chocolate, free cotton candy, free popcorn, and plenty of free candy! There will also be two food trucks on site. (24733 S. Highway 66)

Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6:30-8p: Trick or treat at Brookdale Claremore! All ages are welcome. The kids in costume really bring joy to the residents, so come on out and bring a friend! 1605 N Highway 88.
