WRJH National Junior Honor Society and Student Council raised money last year to bring Rachel’s Challenge to our school. The goal is to have Rachel’s Challenge presented in every school.
Rachel Joy Scott was the first victim of the Columbine school tragedy in 1999. Rachel’s Challenge was created as a national non-profit organization whose mission is to help schools create a safe environment. Students at WRJH will attend and hour-long program on October 3.
In addition, the junior high NHS and student council are sponsoring a special community event on the evening of October 3 at 7p at the Robson PAC. Parents, families, and community members are encouraged to attend this evening program and share in the experience with their students.
