Halloween is Almost Here: Donate Candy in Claremore!


The Claremore Veterans Center has an awesome Halloween bash each year, with tons of candy and a fun carnival with games for the kids. It’s good, clean fun for the kiddos, and the veterans love seeing all of their smiling, sticky faces.

With more than 500 trick-or-treaters expected this year, they could use some help with candy donations and volunteers. This year’s Halloween celebration will be Tuesday, October 31. The public is invited!

A LOT of candy is needed: store bought and individually wrapped. Prizes are needed for the carnival games. Volunteers are needed to sponsor and/or run the game booths at the carnival. Decorations and decorators are welcome, as well as pushers for the wheelchair veterans, and scary volunteers for crowd control.
