Claremore, Oklahoma launched 1 Million Cups in February of this year– a national program to engage, educate and connect local entrepreneurs. 1 Million Cups — based on the notion that entrepreneurs network and discover solutions over a million cups of coffee — is a free gathering that helps to build startup communities on a grassroots level.
Their next presentations will take place on April 5th, 2017. Entrepreneurs, innovators, funders and other interested community members are invited to attend the next presentations from 8:30am to 9:30 a.m. at She Brews Coffee House, located at 414 W Will Rogers Blvd in beautiful Downtown Claremore. 1 Million cups Claremore welcomes presenters from surrounding areas in addition to those from Claremore.
The program’s model is consistent in each city: At each event two early-stage startups present their companies to an audience of mentors, advisers and other entrepreneurs. Each founder presents for six minutes, followed by a 20-minute question-and-answer session with the audience.
Presenters this month include Tom Launius from Oak Tree Photography. Tom has been the owner of Oak Tree Photography for a number of years but is looking for feedback on ways to expand his business in the Claremore area. Our second presenter is Dakota Green with 360FAVS. Dakota has recently created this social networking website for the purpose of saving all of your favorite things. This website is different and provides a way to build and strengthen relationships across the world. Presenters will have the opportunity to feature their business idea and get feedback from the community about how to move their business forward.
