Claremore Team Honored by Rogers County Sheriff’s Office

Members of our Rogers County Sheriff’s Office participated in an Athletic Awards Program for the Claremore Wildcats Softball Team. Corporal Chase Cornish, Administrative Assistant Susie Jones, and Undersheriff Jon Sappington met the group at Claremore’s Pizza Hut, where awards were presented to each member of the Team, based upon their accomplishments while competing at the Oklahoma State Special Olympics, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Year after year the Wildcats continue to impress our Rogers County community. Besides their compassion for the game of softball, the manner in which they use “Teamwork” to overcome a number of otherwise challenging situations, is a model that everyone should try to achieve.
