Melton Sales Chrysler,Dodge,Jeep, and Ram of Claremore just teamed up with 3rd party software solutions company Realdeal.com to provide an ongoing outside assessment of inventory and pricing.  “We have always aspired to use technology to help bring transparency to the car buying process and Real Deal was a natural fit!” says Greg Melton, now sales manager of the 70 year old car dealership.

Real deal is 3rd party company much like edmunds.com or NADA but it takes the pricing evaluation a step further in order to rank matching vehicles in the specific market by both value and price.  This tool allows Melton to compare their vehicle with EVERY other vehicle in the market by price, equipment, and miles before they even buy the car.  They can even compare how long similar cars in the market have been for sale as to know a probability of a quick sale.  Craigslist, Autotrader, Cars.com or Dealership, if a car is on the internet Realdeals software scrubs the sites for comparable models.

“This is a game changer for us as a company because it takes the guesswork out of pricing our cars PLUS allows us to do better on trade-ins!”  An Example of how the process works is posted in the video below.  Check out the video or check it out live at meltonsales.com
