Westside Claremore Gains Partner in Education

Remember when we told you about Pelco Structural and Catalayah Elementary being Partners in Education? It’s a great deal for the school and really helps the teachers out. Three of the four elementary schools in Claremore had been matched with a local business, and now Westside is the final school to gain a Partner in Education. Congratulations to Westside and BancFirst for their new relationship!

Monetary donations from BancFirst will assist teachers with new classroom supplies, and other items like printers, books and more. Additionally, volunteers from BancFirst will be involved with activities such as being guest readers in the classroom.  According to principal Traci Thomas, the boundaries are limitless with this partnership, and it’s clear that BancFirst is in it for the long haul.

Thank you to BancFirst for being Westside’s Partner in Education. Also, Westside parent Crystal Campbell gave a delightful appreciation speech to the teachers, including some tunes by AC/DC. Rock on, teachers!
