Elks Donates Money to Will Rogers Park Project

elksThe Claremore Elks Lodge recently gave $2000 to the Will Rogers Park Project. Crystal Campbell and her team are still raising funds for the final piece of playground equipment. The blank panels on the playground concept is for artwork that will have a theme, such as Cherokee or possibly notable Claremore people and/or places. Playgrounds are more expensive than one might think, so donations are still being welcomed, and the Will Rogers Park Project is still working on grants for more park improvements, like walking trails and restrooms.

The brick memorial will begin construction in late fall or early winter.

For more information on the Will Rogers Park Project, please follow them on Facebook.

Thank you, Elks!
