Black has always been the favorite color for the big Mercedes but in these times especially so. Bright colors such as red and yellow are decidedly untoward.
I picked this particular car for two main reasons. First, it was extremely low miles.
Twenty-two thousand miles on a a 2011 model (less than 8k per year) is unusual, even on Mercedes where people often have multiple homes and cars used through different times of year.
Second, I like the idea of 4-matic. All-wheel drive in Oklahoma is something we don’t need very often, but when we need it we REALLY need it. This was never intended for off-road, of course, but will be about as good as you can get for our seasonal snow and ice situations.
Of course, I like the price or I’d never bought it to begin with. Anybody can find nice cars for a lot of money. I like nice cars for little money. While this car in the mid $30k price range is not cheap, I don’t know of another low 20k mi Mercedes E Class for this money. The Car Fax is clean. Pedigree is top notch. Have fun.
My name is Robby Melton. I’m old enough to qualify for a “senior coke” at McDonalds and don’t have to work anymore, but find myself here on the lot most days because that’s where the cars are. That advertising slogan, “We sell cars for fun,” is not far off-base for my brother and me.
