Claremore Driveway: Infiniti G37 Coupe

infinitiThe Infiniti G37 Coupe has styling that hits you between the eyes, makes you want to own it and causes you to envy those who do own it. The example we are considering today is a 2008 model  (6 years old) with 60k mi (10,000 per year).

The G37 is heavier than it’s 3 series BMW counterpart, but with its VQ V6 330 horses generates a standing quarter mile of 13.9 and 103 m.p.h. That’s straight line performance comparable with stock versions of the 1960s muscle cars.

The car actually appears to be moving when sitting still. The interior is quite posh, and the seats are more padded than some of her later brothers and sisters.

What we have here is a luxury coupe that looks to be current style and costs about $20k.

It is rumored as well, that Japanese cars have decent quality.

Makes a lot of sense to let the other guy take that big new car depreciation hit. That’s what the millionaires do.

My name is Robby Melton. I’m old enough to qualify for a “senior coke” at McDonalds and don’t have to work anymore, but find myself here on the lot most days because that’s where the cars are. That advertising slogan,  “We sell cars for fun,” is not far off-base for my brother and me.
