Hi Ho Cowboys!

Claremore local, Zip Gordon, will be the Junior Captain of the game this week at Oklahoma State University.  The Junior Captain program allows children with serious medical conditions to be part of the College Football spotlight for a day.  The position is sponsored by Saint Francis Children’s hospital.

Zip will go onto the field with the OSU captains for the coin toss on Saturday.

The game will be at 3:00 vs. Kansas.

Gordon was chosen for the honor after being diagnosed with Fibrodisplasia Ossificans Progressiva (FOP) in July of 2011.

Learn more about the condition and donate for research in Zip’s honor at www.IFOPA.org.
