OHHH, the Halloween Horror! Thinking about Candy in Burpees

Cooler weather and with a hint of Halloween chocolate and Starbucks Pumpkin Spiced Lattes in the air, it’s enough to take our weight loss goals in a different direction…a ‘BIGGER” direction. Before you mindlessly grab for that innocent FUN SIZE piece of candy let me ask you one question, do you like burpees?

The BURPEE (aka PUKEE) is a full body exercise used in strength training and in aerobic exercise. Basically a squat thrust. It is performed in four steps:


Begin in a standing position.

1. Drop into a squat position with your hands on the ground.

2. Kick your feet back, while keeping your arms extended.

3. Immediately return your feet to the squat position.

4. Stand up from the squat position.

Now that you know how FUN the burpee can be, lets figure out how many pieces of those FUN SIZE bites we can actually have.

Ok just for fun, let’s add in our favorite fall hot drink that you are drinking while the kids are trick or treating:
