Dot's Cafe / Downtown All These Years

For forty two years Melinda and Bobby Knight have been running Dot’s cafe in downtown Claremore. It’s a family deal all around with Melinda’s brother, Larry Washom doing the cooking. Everything is homemade, and the feel is like a family getting together for lunch, maybe finishing up with a piece of homemade pie. “All the old Claremore people know about us, says Melinda. Now we’re trying to get the word out to the young people and new folks in town” Dot’s is staying open now till 8;00 on Thursdays, giving an opening for people who can’t make it for lunch.
