Travel the world with Will on the hill

Applications are available for an October class of Will Rogers Memorial Museum Ropers to volunteer at the Claremore Museum and Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch. It’s an opportunity to meet the thousands of people who come from around the world to visit Will’s Museum. Interested persons can pick up an application at the Museum store or business office or at http://www.willrogers.com/ropers/volunteer.html.
Interested applicants are invited to an informational program at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3 in the Will Rogers Memorial Theatre.
The first of 11 weeks of classes will begin Tuesday, Oct. 1.
Training classes will be conducted by graduates of the Roper program, which started in 2008, including former Claremont teacher Sherry Whisler.
